My Window’s laptop is to the point of it’s life where I can literally not move it without it shutting down. I keep it sitting behind a chair, close to the television and now I use it to surf. At Staples, I found a wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse that I added to the Toshiba plus an HMDI cable. Wah lah I now have a 42’’ monitor and a lazy boy recliner to surf the net. I find this is the perfect set up to work in google docs with students, critique partners or an editor.
But, I had to purchase a new laptop for my offline work. I chose a Mac Book Pro (I think that is what it is called). Well, the learning curve is not friendly. I need the Toshiba to search how to use the Mac. I wish I had not listened to the sales person, although everyone I asked for input offered the same advice, Go Mac. If I had it to do over again, I would not make the change. I have an android phone and tablet are Samsung and I still use the Toshiba to operate the Mac.
I’m not a convert. The road seems long ahead of me for I will be comfortable and not need the Toshiba assist with the Mac. Believe me, when the Toshiba transitions to a paperweight, I’ll be replacing it with another PC.
